26 March 2014 (Day 22) – I found my “hiker legs” somewhere in the GSMNP – I’ve walked four 20+ mile days without any issues. My legs feel strong, pack fits right, and blisters have become calluses. I pushed through the Smokies to take advantage of some great weather and avoid the incoming winter storm. I’m now holed up in Hot Springs, NC getting some much needed rest, clothes cleaned, and food resupplied. Breakfast skillet at the Smoky Mountain Diner – bring your A game to finish it (I did). I’ll visit the Hot Springs Spa this afternoon and soak my body in the natural mineral hot springs.

I ordered this last week, at your recommendation. LOL. I COULD NOT finish it. The waitress stood in front of the booth and refused to let me get up until I finished it. LOL. I shoveled with all I had but gave out. It was hilarious. So you brought your A game to finish it for sure. I was at best a C+. hahahahahahahaha
