Some of my gear:
- Osprey Aether 70 backpack and cover. I spent 3 hours at REI trying on backpacks before deciding on the Osprey. The standard sizing did not work for me, so the shoulder straps are from a large pack and the waist straps are from a medium pack. It’s comfy.
- Big Agnes Copper Spur single person tent w/groundcloth. Freestanding, lightweight tent with just enough room for my sleeping bag.
- Nemo Nocturne 15 sleeping bag. Treated down in a extra-long, full-size bag. I’m a side sleeper and I can’t stand mummy bags.
- Therm-a-Rest NeoAir XLite sleeping pad. Lightweight and insulating.
- Jetboil Sol camp stove. Boils a liter of water in less than 2 minutes. Impressive.
- Merrell Moab Ventilator hiking boots. Lightweight and quick-drying.
- Various clothing made from tech material or merino wool.
- Nikon A110 waterproof point-n-shoot camera.
- Aqua Mira purifying water drops. Kills the bacteria and viruses found in untreated water while imparting very little taste.
- Assorted odds and ends like a small med kit, guidebook, soap, cloths, TP, iPhone, string, etc.
